The gaming industry has had its turn of evolving and over the years it has grown immensely. The developers have tried to bring in new techniques to add on to the competition and entertainment. Microsoft assures that the players would experience an awe-inspiring different level of entertainment with Kinect as the games would become more natural and intuitive.
Kinect would add a new dimension to the Xbox experience as it is can be attached and works well with all types of Xbox 360. This fusion of the two devices would provide a heightened level of entertainment as all games on the Xbox would now become Xbox Kinect games. Besides this, the developers at Microsoft have rolled out some new Kinect games, like the ‘Kinectimals’, ‘Kinect Sports’ and ‘Your Shape: Fitness Evolved’.
Other than these, many other game studios have developed games for Kinect, of which the distinguishing ones are ‘Dance Central’ by Harmonix, ‘Kinect Adventures’ and ‘Kinect Joy ride’. Surely the Kinect is set to rock the world with its life like gaming adventures but all this would come at a price and that too $149.99, which too an extent can be termed whooping. However, whether Kinect delivers what it promises is yet to be seen. However, for the time being it seems that with Kinect, the Xbox 360 would also have many features added in the gameplay and media section, which will definitely give a new turn to the gaming and entertainment community. We will see what actually plays out over time. I think that the games will be pretty good from the get go because Microsoft has so much riding on this.
